Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology acquires Aviv AU-FDS Fluorescence Detection System for the Analytical Ultracentrifuge
The concentration of sedimenting molecules in the Beckman XL-I analytical ultracentrifuge can be determined using either absorbance or interference optical systems. Each optical system has its advantages, but both require moderate to large amounts of pure sample to obtain analytical data.
